Yes, we picked a date for our Spring Work Day - It's Saturday June 27th!
Come rain or shine, here is the plan:
You are welcome to come visit us, maybe pick up a paint brush (or not), and sit with us at lunch time to share stories and refuel. (Bring a chair and lunch!)
Just show up, or Contact Us ⇗.
As you remember, the goal of the Lochaber Bay Cemetery Fund Raiser is to raise our asset total to over $75,000 by the year 2035 so we can continue cutting the grass and maintain the cemetery into the middle of the century.
See Reality Check ⇗.
In 2025 we had a great response from our supporters and we want to thank everyone! From small to larger donors - you are ALL making a difference! We have turned the corner from a falling bank balance to a modest growth in our assets and investments. Many thanks to all!
Of course to meet our long term goal, we need to keep everyone engaged and get people that have never donated, to make small contributions on a regular basis.

Projections are with inflation at 2% and interest rates are 'inflation plus 1.5%'.
As much as we'd like to separate the 'Fund Raiser' Investment Account from 'General Operations' Account, we simply don't have the cash flow to do that. What we do is pay our expenses from donations and then we move the surplus into the Investment Account. This amount will vary yearly depending on donation levels.
Donations by cheque can be made to:
Lochaber Bay Cemetery Company

Donations by e-transfer can be made to:

Enter your email address or mailing address in the message window so we can send you a receipt!
Full Disclosure:The Lochaber Bay Cemetery Company is not a Registered Charity but rather a 'non-profit' entity. That means we don't have financial or legal expenses and our board of directors are strictly volunteer. All donations go towards cemetery maintenance and capital projects.
